The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join our underground team. This is more than a job — it’s a pathway to career growth with hands‑on work, the latest mining technology and a team that will help you progress.

As our new Electrical Shift Engineer, you will:

• Lead and take ownership of your shift and crew;

• Provide technical advice, assistance and development to tradespeople;

• Manage the safe and successful execution of the shift plan including management of work orders, the monitoring of plan completion/effectiveness and the closing out of work orders;

• Determine and organise parts, labour and equipment to undertake maintenance plans and major breakdowns;

• Conduct short and medium term planning for crew activities and maintenance shifts;

• Analyse information to decide priorities and determine the expected duration or required maintenance activities and level of risk management required;

• Communicate effectively to oncoming shifts for appropriate handover of information to support the ongoing operations.

As the successful candidate you will:

• Hold Electrical Trade Qualifications, or alternatively hold a Diploma Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a Degree in Electrical Engineering;

• Have a minimum 3 years industry experience;

• Have experience in supervising a mining or maintenance crew in front line capacity will be advantageous.
