Job Description

We are seeking a career minded leader with high emotional intelligence, strong accountability and driven by continuous improvement to join our team as one of two CHPP Production Superintendents.

Reporting to the CHPP Manager, the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading the CHPP production team to ensure targets are met in a safe and efficient manner

  • Providing leadership and coaching to CHPP Production Supervisors

  • Oversee planning and allocation of task activities within the designated process area to achieve forecasted business results (including health, safety, environment and community impacts of work);

  • Support operation or divisional budget in terms of managing resources effectively including monitoring and controlling costs;

  • Working closely with key production, tech services and logistics stakeholders to meet both coal quality and quantity targets.

  • Implementing and driving site continuous improvement initiatives to optimise CHPP performance

  • Monday to Friday Roster
     

About You (relevant Experience/knowledge)

  • Engineering, Mining and / or Processing experience

  • Experience with leading a large operational team

  • Uncompromising commitment to safety and focus on Zero Harm

  • Strong communication and engagement skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence others to deliver required outcomes

  • A positive Can-Do attitude

  • RIIRIS402E Carry Out Risk Management Processes

  • Understand of NSW Coal Mining statutory obligations
