Mt Owen/Glendell Operations (MGO) is an open cut mining operation which utilises truck and excavator mining methods to produce thermal and semi-soft coking coal, which is predominantly exported for domestic power generation and use in steel production. We are located within the Hunter Coalfields at Hebden in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Administration Officer in our Maintenance department at MGO. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Maintenance Department and other departments across MGO when necessary.
In this role you will be responsible for:

Proactively responding to all administration enquiries needed in the Maintenance Department

Site meeting preparation, coordination, venue booking, minute taking and distribution

Time sheet and work order management in Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP)

Site management for the Total Workforce Management System (Damstra)

Document Control management in SharePoint
-
Collect and compile information to prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence to support information flow across the operation
The requirements for success in this role include:

Proven previous experience in a similar role
-
Excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisation skills

Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

Effective and engaging communication style and skills, including written communication
-
Ability to handle high volume of workload and work under pressure
