United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is a 50:50 joint venture between Glencore and Peabody who have developed a brownfields expansion that combines a new open cut at United Collieries with the existing open cut of Wambo. UWJV is a Glencore managed operation producing up to 10 million ROM tonnes per annum.

About the Role
Reporting to the Statutory Electrical Engineer, and as an integral member of the Maintenance and Engineering team, this role will be responsible for:
- Coordinating multiple Operational Technology maintenance and project tasks across the site.
- Ensuring all documentation pertaining to site Operational Technology is maintained to as built status in line with statutory requirements and stored to site standards.
- Reviewing technical performance to identify areas of poor performance and develop and implement action plans to correct.
- Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment.
- Promoting positive relationships with our stakeholders & community; and
- Taking all reasonable steps to minimise impact on the environment.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in either Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Exceptional communication skills (both written & verbal) with the ability to liaise with and influence key stakeholders
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities & deadlines
- Ability to work in an industrial heavy industry with both hands-on hardware requirements
- Effective team player and ability to work autonomously as required
Experience with the following systems in advantageous but not critical
- Cisco, VMWare & Fortinet accreditations
- Experience with CITECT / SCADA Control Systems
- Windows domain and active directory experience
- Wireless system networks particularly Rajant mesh networks
- Experience in Rockwell PLCs
- Experience using Microsoft Operating Systems in both desktop and server environments
- Exposure to HPE servers and VMWare Experience with networking switches and routers an advantage
- Surface open cut mining fleet management systems (i.e., Modular, Guardvant)
- General industrial cyber security
