What are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Planner to join our winning team. Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Superintendent, this role will see you work within a highly experienced planning team, that is extremely focused on achieving safe and efficient maintenance plans and schedules, that will deliver reliable, cost-effective assets to meet the objectives of the mine. The position is permanent full time, working a Monday to Friday roster. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

As a Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for all aspects of the efficient planning and scheduling processes on large mining equipment at Mangoola which includes:

  • Liebherr 996B / 9400 / 9250 Excavators

  • L1850 Loaders

  • Drills

  • Caterpillar D11/D10 Dozer fleet

  • CAT 793 and 789 Mechanical Haul Trucks

  • CAT 777 Watercarts

  • CAT Graders and other ancillary fleet.

  • Manage the routine maintenance strategies for our mining equipment including short term and long-term planning role.

  • Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the Mangoola Coal values.

  • Promoting positive relationships with our stakeholders & community

  • Taking all reasonable steps to minimise the impact on the environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant Trade Qualification (essential).

  • A minimum of 4 years’ demonstrated essential experience in a planning role at a large open cut operation and experience in SAP.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.

  • A willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.

  • The ability to follow a plan and the resilience to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
