About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic and successful team.  As a valued member of the HME Maintenance team and reporting directly to the HME Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.

  • Providing mechanical maintenance and services.

  • Trouble shooting and the ability to located and solve unplanned breakdowns with attention to detail and in a timely manner.

  • Performing preventative maintenance.

  • Liaise with key personnel and share ideas for overall improvement outcomes

  • Identify, assess and control workplace hazards

About you 

The be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Possess a AUR31220 - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Mobile Plant Equipment) or an equivalent qualification.

  • Have previous experience working on heavy earth moving equipment.

  • Able to work both autonomously and as a part of a team.

  • Excellent safety mindset with the ability to positively influence the culture at Rolleston

  • Relevant experience with maintenance management systems.
