Oaky Creek Coal is currently seeking expressions of interests for Development Electricians.

The Role:

• Full-time permanent

• Even-time 7/7 rostered position

As the successful applicant you will report to the Shift Supervisor and development electrical co-ordinator, and will be primarily responsible for providing electrical support to the Development areas of the Oaky North Underground Mine.

Specific key accountabilities for this role include all relevant statutory inspections, completing preventative and breakdown maintenance duties, displaying high work standards, exhibiting a high regard for safety and communicating effectively within a team environment to achieve results. You will be able to work shift rosters and perform your role in a safe and timely manner.

About You:

With the relevant electrical trade qualifications (mandatory), underground mining experience (mandatory) with 1-2 year in a similar position, and experience with Komatsu equipment (highly regarded but not essential).  These credentials are complemented by your genuine commitment to safety and demonstrated ability to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.
