The Role:

• Full-time permanent

• Even-time 7/7 rostered position

Reporting to the Longwall Mechanical Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• the supervision of maintenance and mechanical trades

• implementing the longwall maintenance schedule

• carrying out daily inspections

• assisting the Longwall Mechanical Coordinator

                                   

Oaky Creek Coal is looking for an engaging and driven individual that has the passion for managing people and has an exceptional ability to be able to get the most out of their crew. You will be well organised and have excellent time management skills.  Demonstrated visible leadership and communication skills are essential and the ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be held in high regard. 

  

The successful applicant will have:

• at least 5 years’ experience with longwall systems

• a QLD Mechanical Trade Certificate

• Senior First Aid

• supervisor qualifications
