The Opportunity
We currently have a role available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Ulan Coal Mines Environment and Community Team. Reporting to the E&C Coordinator, you are someone who strives to provide proactive support to the E&C department and solutions for stakeholders that align with both business and regulatory objectives.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate has the following skills and experiences:
- An environmental (or related) degree with a minimum of 1 year environmental and/or mining experience;
- Environmental data management, interpretation and reporting for both internal and external requirements;
- Management plan reviews, updates and implementation.
- Field inspections and conducting environmental monitoring (inc, dust, water, subsidence) as required;
- Implementing Land Management practices including weed and feral animal control;
- Contractor Management (desirable).
