Job Description

Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership to our OCEs and Step Up Supervisors to meet production and operational targets whilst maintaining a high level of safety.

About the Role

  • Provide leadership and support to mining supervisors on shift

  • Strive to achieve both daily and weekly production targets whilst maintaining a high level of safety

  • Ensure compliance with all HSEC and legislative requirements

  • Coach employees to achieve a high standard in all tasks

  • Demonstrate a commitment to and reinforce company values

Roster and Location

  • Lifestyle Dayshift Only Roster

  • Based on site at HVO South (off Golden Highway)

About You

  • Motivated individual, that is able to lead, direct and hold accountable a large crew of both Supervisors and Operators

  • Possess an Open Cut Examiners ticket

  • Extensive supervisory experience ideally in a senior role in the mining environment

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deliver a clear message and influence effectively

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic working environment
