We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Brisbane. In this role you will have the opportunity to be an integral member of the Project Delivery team and will be involved in plant design, procurement, project management, design improvements and marketing. This position directly reports to the Projects Director, working on various Technology Projects.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Project delivery under the Glencore Technology governance processes
  • Working with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and subcontractors
  • Client facing and maintaining productive client relationships
  • Ensuring that the agreed project parameters of safety, cost, quality, schedule & margin are achieved

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering and a strong background in Project Management with at least five years’ experience.
  • Experience in Project management with demonstrated ability to oversee the delivery of projects on time, on budget.
  • Experience working within an EPC/EPcM or OEM project delivery environment will be highly regarded
  • The ability to manage unexpected delays, risks and project change requests ensuring a successful delivery of the project on time.
  • Strong relationship building capacity both internally and externally.
  • Good communication and negotiation
  • Strong customer focus and high attention to detail
  • Supervisory experience leading a team of design and procurement professionals
