Due to a recent surge in recycling projects, we are seeking a Senior Process, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineer to join our Pyrometallurgy team in Brisbane on a full-time basis with the opportunity for overseas travel. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the ongoing innovation and implementation of our pyrometallurgical technologies. This position directly reports to the Senior Metallurgist –  Pyrometallurgy. This is a rare opportunity to join the leadership team of a small group introducing industry-changing technology. You will be responsible for leading:

  • Technology research and development
  • Supervision of test work programs
  • Process and flowsheet design
  • Plant design
  • Project delivery
  • Marketing
  • Site support
  • Commissioning
  • Client training

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or similar, with some exposure to pyrometallurgy
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations and/or pyrometallurgy flowsheet design
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical and commercial issues with clients
  • The ability to travel overseas as required
