We are seeking a Senior Proposals Engineer to join our team at Glencore Technology within our Growth & Solutions department. This role involves preparing and negotiating proposals to our clients for complex hydrometallurgical, pyrometallurgical and mineral processing bids and tenders, and administering the system that underlies the proposal process. You will report directly to the Manager of Proposals & Contracts.  

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading proposal development for complex bids and tenders across all our technologies
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Commercial and legal negotiation with support from subject matter experts
  • Sales forecasting
  • Systems support and systems management
  • Project management of complex tenders with multiple stakeholders
  • Support of our business and technology strategy development and

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in proposal development for complex sales and Project Management
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with cross functional teams
