Glencore Technology are currently seeking an experienced Proposals Engineer to join our Growth & Solutions department. This role involves preparing and negotiating proposals to our clients for hydrometallurgical, pyrometallurgical and mineral processing bids and tenders, and administering the system that underlies the proposal process.

You will be responsible for:

  • Proposal development for complex bids and tenders across all our mineral processing technologies
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Commercial and legal negotiation with support from subject matter experts
  • Sales forecasting
  • Systems support and systems management
  • Project management of tenders with multiple stakeholders
  • Support of our business and technology strategy development and

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience in proposal development for engineering projects
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with cross functional teams
