About the Role

Murrin Murrin Operations, part of Glencore’s Australian metals portfolio, is located in Western Australia’s northern Goldfields and is one of the world’s largest nickel and cobalt mining and processing operations. The site combines large-scale open pit mining with a globally significant processing facility, creating a unique environment where mining engineers gain exposure to the full mining value chain.

At Murrin Murrin, mining engineering graduates are exposed to the planning and execution of complex laterite mining operations that directly support a large downstream processing plant. This provides valuable experience in short and long-term mine planning, drill and blast optimisation, production engineering and operational improvement within a technically demanding environment. Graduates work alongside experienced technical services professionals who are responsible for delivering safe, efficient and reliable mining outcomes while supporting continuous improvement across the operation.
