About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail focused Graduate Contracts Officers to join our Glencore Metals Australia Supply Chain team. This role offers the perfect entry point for a graduate looking to build a career in procurement, sourcing, and commercial contract management.
As part of the Sourcing function, you will support the end to end contract lifecycle, contribute to sourcing initiatives, and play an active role in developing category strategies that drive value, savings, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across our operations in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia, gaining exposure to a broad range of supply markets, operational environments, and stakeholders.
You will gain hands-on experience across procurement, contracts and commercial activities, including:
- Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies across various categories including spend analysis, market research, and opportunity identification;
- Supporting tender and sourcing activities, including RFx development, evaluation processes, negotiations, and supplier engagement;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational requirements;
- Maintain accurate contract records and documentation;
- Assisting with the preparation, drafting, review, and administration of contract documents;
- Supporting contract management activities to ensure legal and procedural compliance;
- Participate actively in the ongoing success of the broader Supply Chain department, offering ideas and supporting projects that drive operational excellence.
