In this role you will be responsible for:

• Reporting to the Supervisor (Mine) Shift, responsible to lead the crew in the section
• Assisting to conduct daily re-entry examination, risk assessment, mark off support
• Assisting the Miner to identify the reef band and to mark face as per geological reports
• Assisting to charge up the face and safe blasting
• Assisting to plan and coordinate mine activities in line with targets and objectives
• Compliance with the company’s HSEC system
• Ensuring implementation of Management decisions, legal requirements, and company standards/policies.

 

     About you:

• Grade 12
• Competent A Certificate
• At least two (2) years’ experience as a Team Leader in mining environment
• Accurate and timeous completion of tasks (Result Driven)
• Ability to function independently
• Operational problem solving and decision making
• Good Interpersonal skills.
