ARTISAN (INSTRUMENTATION MECHANICIAN)

In this role you will be responsible for:
-    Provide a technical instrumentation installation and maintenance services to all relevant machinery and equipment.
-    Calibration work, instrumentation installation and replacement.
-    Machine specifications monitoring, monitoring belt extensions.
-    Water, ventilation systems and people transport (chairlift).
-    Compliance with the company’s HSEC systems.

About you:
-    Grade 12
-    Certification as instrumentation mechanician
-    Instrumentation trade Certificate
-    Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) / SETA statement of results / Learnership agreement in support the trade
-    Instrumentation experience for surface plant and underground mining
-    Knowledge of PLC’s and ability to read PnID’s
-    Reading of auto electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics
-    Medically fit to work on surface and underground
-    Computer literacy
-    Valid driver’s licence and own transport
-    Must be willing to perform overtime and standby with shared sites as well as call-out duties
-    Proficiency in English Written Language and communication
