In this role you will be responsible for: • The incumbent will report to the Supervisor (Mine) Shift and will be responsible for reaching production targets in his/her section.
• Compliance with the company’s HSEC system and mine standards and procedures are essential.
• Safe blasting of underground excavations and development of waste and reef footprint.
• Communication of mining plans and allocation of responsibilities to his/her crew.
• Ensuring implementation of management decision, legal requirements.
• Responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of his/her crew. About you: • Grade 12
• Blasting certificate for scheduled mines
• Competent A certificate
• At least 3 years’ experience working in an underground environment as a Miner
• Board and Pillar, Trackless Mining experience
• Medically Fit for underground
• Good communication skills
