Artisan (Auto Electrician)

In this role you will be responsible to:

• The incumbent will report to the Engineering Coordinator and will be responsible for the auto electrical maintenance and repairs of all surface and underground TMM’s.
• Compliance with the company’s HSEC system and mine standards and procedures are essential.
• The position will provide specialist maintenance support to the miner for the achievement of production targets.
• Above average and effective care and maintenance of all equipment within the specific area of responsibility.
• Completing planned maintenance, breakdowns and project related work.
• Ensuring implementation of management decision, legal  requirements.

About you:

• Grade 12.
• Full N2 Certificate (one subject being theory).
• Valid Trade Test Certificate (with relevant PoE).
• Valid driver’s license and own motor vehicle.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Artisan (Auto Electrician).
• Experience as an Artisan (Auto Electrician) underground environment would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills.
