Operator (Machine)

In this role you will be responsible for:

• The incumbent will be responsible for all functions relating to the position Operator (Machine), the role’s purpose is to be responsible to operate mobile machinery in the plant area to move material and product in line with required operational and safety standards
• The incumbent will Report to the Supervisor Plant and will be responsible for the production targets and deliverables related to all stores and logistic functions; compliance with the company’s HSEC system is essential, ensuring implementation of management decision, legal requirements, and company standards/policies

About you:

• Grade 10
• The incumbent must have code 14 driver’s license with PDP
• Minimum 1 years’ experience as a machine operator in a plant and/or maintenance environment
• VTS, Dover Testing competent, including valid driver’s license
• The Incumbent must be willing to operate LDV and Telescopic handler when required.
• Candidate to have good interpersonal skills (good communication skills)
• Must be a team player and be able function independently
• Must be prepared to work overtime and additional shifts
