Welder

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Reporting to the Plant Shift Supervisor and for production targets, compliance with the company’s HSEC system is essential, ensuring implementation of management decision, legal requirements, and company standards / Policies
• Ensuring that Welders have tools and materials available as rods, grinding disc and magnetic drills
• Assist welders to set up rigs and move them between work areas
• Follow Welders instructions to adjust welding machine temperature
• Working overtimes on short period to assist with breakdowns

  About you:

• Grade 12
• Full N2 Technical qualification / Boilermaker Aider Certificate
• Previous experience as a welder aider / semi-skilled boilermaker
• Proficient knowledge of all aspects of welding
• Accurate and timeous completion of assignments. (Results Driven)
• Must be willing to work shifts
