Controller (Stores)

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Control all warehouse functions for the operational unit to ensure availability of stock and non-stock items.

• Manage all issuing and receiving functions and processes Manage purchase order process and exceptions, and ensure the right product is purchased at the right quality and price, and that it is delivered on time
  Ensure maintenance of dynamic material master data within the procurement processes
• Assist with the management the vendor management process, with specific reference to compliance and performance
• Identify material management improvement opportunities and make suitable recommendations
• Participate in material management improvement initiatives
• Provide input to procurement with regards to master data, expediting, etc
• Ensure our dealings with business partners, including contractors, suppliers, and joint venture partners, we encourage them to respect our standards of conduct

 About you:

• Grade 12
• At least five (5) years’ experience in a warehouse environment of which tree (3) years in a Supervisory capacity
• SAP experience & Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
• Proficiency in English (listening, questioning, summarizing)
• Advanced communication skills (written & Verbal)
