Eng. Coordinator (Drill Rigs & Bolters)

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Planning, Organizing, Leading & Controlling the maintenance activities of the Drill Rig Bolters;
• Running an effective maintenance service in the most cost-efficient manner which may include the provision of project management support to the Operations Engineer;
• Provide a maintenance service that include preventative, planned and predictive maintenance strategy, breakdowns & project related work;
• Assist with Major Fault finding and analysis;
• Effective administration adhering to implemented systems as required through planning department;
• Accurate and timeous completion of assignments/tasks (results driven);
• Ensure acceptable percentage of machine availability;
• Compliance to Glencore Ferro Alloys Mining Division Standards and Procedures.

About you:

• Grade 12
• Full N2 including Maths & Trade Theory
• Millwright Trade Certificate
• Medical Fit to work underground
• Candidate must be willing and able to perform standby and overtime duties
• Valid Driver’s License and own Transport
• Previous working experience on Drill Rigs and Bolters
• At least 5(five) years’ experience as a Millwright or similar in the mining underground environment.
