Artisan (Electrician)

In this role you will be responsible for:

• The incumbent will report to the coordinator (Engineering) and will be responsible for production targets.
• Compliance with the company’s HSEC system is essential.
• Ensuring implementation of management decision, legal requirements.
• The incumbent will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of all the MV reticulation-
• infrastructure at the mine, both on surface and underground workings.
• This position will provide support to the mine by ensuring a continuous MV power supply.
• The work covers planned maintenance, breakdowns, and project work.
• Compliance to mine standards and procedures and with the MHSA.

 

  About you:

• Grade 12
• Full N2 Certificate (one subject being theory)
• Valid Trade Test Certificate (with relevant PoE / statement of results)
• Valid driver’s license and own motor vehicle
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Artisan (Electrician)
• Experience as an Artisan (Electrician) underground environment
• Good communication skills
