In this role you will be responsible for:
- The incumbent will report to the Engineering Coordinator and will be responsible for production targets
- Compliance with the company’s HSEC system is essential
- Ensuring implementation of management decision, legal requirements
- Responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of his/her crew
- Compliance of mine standards and procedures
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on engineering equipment such as Pumps, Conveyor Belts, Crushers and related Machinery within the plant or underground.
About you:
- Grade 12
- Full N2 Certificate (Two subjects being trade theory: Fitting and Electrical)
- Valid Trade Test Certificate (with relevant PoE)
- Valid driver’s license and own motor vehicle
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Artisan (Millwright)
- Experience as an Artisan (Millwright) underground and plant environment would be an advantage
- Good communication skills
