In this role you will be responsible for:

• Performing work relating to the capture of SO₂ from the Kiln Off Gas.
• Effectively controlling the feed area of the Kiln
• Effectively controlling all operations regarding the Off Gas of the Kiln and related equipment in the Kiln Plant.
• Controlling the feed and re-agents into the Kiln.
• Controlling areas including operations and housekeeping.
• Conducting checklists and work as required.
• Carrying out work related instructions from Supervisor.
• Compliance with all safety, housekeeping and environmental procedures and policies of the company
• Maintaining adherence to Company’s safety, health, environment, HR and Disciplinary codes.

 
About you:

• Grade 10
• Must be able to work shifts
• Medically fit
• Be able to communicate clearly in English
• Must operate effectively in a team
• Must be willing to work overtime from time to time as and when required.
• Must ensure operational efficiency whilst on site and off site
• Must operate with integrity
• Must handle material in a safe manner
• At least 1 years’ experience in a heavy industry.
