About the role:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Industrial Networks, the Technical Analyst, Industrial Network is responsible for implementing and supporting advanced industrial network technologies that enable and sustain EVR’s large-scale mining and mineral processing operations. The Technical Analyst, Industrial Networks, is responsible for the planning, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of the company’s industrial network infrastructure.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels across EVR operations and corporate offices
- Support the deployment and ongoing optimization of Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) at EVR, leveraging advanced wireless Wi-Fi and Private LTE technologies
- Implement, maintain, and continuously enhance industrial network infrastructure to improve operational productivity, safety, and sustainability outcomes
- Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and effective manner
- Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives, including system hardening, incident response, and digital forensics activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum three years of experience in delivering, supporting, and maintaining network infrastructure or operational technology (OT) systems within an industrial environment, preferably in mining
- Intermediate understanding of radio frequency (RF) and microwave communication fundamentals
- Proven experience deploying and supporting enterprise-grade 802.11 Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Intermediate-level expertise in industrial wired and wireless network infrastructure, preferably within mining operations
- Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, including configuration and support of switches, routers, firewalls, wireless LAN controllers, and wireless bridges
- Familiarity with cellular infrastructure technologies (e.g., LTE) is considered an asset
- Experience with Fortinet Next Generation Firewalls is an asset
- CCNA certification is considered an asset
- Capable of supporting mission-critical systems operating in a 24/7 production environment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skill
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
