About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance, the Senior Engineer Supervisor (SES), Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling, maintenance and reliability engineering, as well as current and multi year budgeting and forecasting commitments. The SES leads a multi-disciplinary team, and is a key contact for numerous other departments including finance, offsite technical support, mine engineering, vendor engagement, etc.
The SES is responsible for numerous regular deliverables from their team including;
- A quality weekly schedule for the execution team to follow that balances fleet maintenance requirements and resources with operational considerations
- Accurate monthly financial forecasts and reconciliation for repair parts and contractor usage
- Adherence to budget, and development of a quality budget for future years
- Delivery of fleet performance improvement initiatives

In this role you will:
Health, Safety & Environment

Planning, Scheduling & Execution
- Oversee planning and scheduling processes to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities
- Develop and deliver high-quality maintenance schedules that balance operational requirements, resource availability, and asset needs
- Ensure maintenance plans are executed in alignment with production priorities, safety standards, and reliability targets
- Integrate daily, weekly, and monthly planning activities to support cost management, reliability, and asset availability
Maintenance, Reliability & Continuous Improvement
- Manage maintenance and reliability engineering functions to improve fleet performance, uptime, and cost efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement and fleet performance initiatives
- Partner with OEMs, vendors, and internal stakeholders to optimize reliability and maintenance outcomes
Financial Management & Projects
- Own monthly financial forecasting and reconciliation for repair parts and contractor costs, and manage budget performance
- Lead development of annual and multi-year operating budgets and forecasts, including capital planning and project delivery aligned to business objectives
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, engineering, or operations within a heavy industrial environment (mining preferred)
- Registered as Peng with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia or equivalent
- Ability to build and lead a highly collaborative team with a focus on delivering value and promoting the sharing of standard methodologies across operations and projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sophisticated analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience in both Industrial Operations and Project Execution
- Motivated self-starter, with the ability to work under minimal direction, and handle several priorities simultaneously
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite®: Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
