About the role: 

Reporting to the Senior Lead, Training & Development, the Administrative Assistant, Training is responsible for the administrative duties of training programs and other initiatives for the Human Resources Department at our Greenhills Operations.   

To be successful, we are looking for a confident administrative professional who can multitask, stay organized, and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This person is self-motivated, detail-orientated, and has strong problem-solving skills. A high level of integrity, passion for continuous improvement, and an ability to know your audience while communicating and collaborating with others would be vital for success in this position.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Act as the lead in orientations for new EVR employees  
  • Ensure that training documentation is consistently maintained and accurately documented in the Learning Management System  
  • Develop and schedule training material and courses for new EVR Employees  
  • Take a lead role in document control and continued development of centralized training materials  
  • Assist in the administration and scheduling of Apprenticeship Program  
  • Work in conjunction with other departments and teams to help coordinate projects pertaining to Training and Development  
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team through various tasks as required   
  • Assist with the development and assignment of Computer Based Training (CBT) Programs  
  • Participate in the internal and external auditing of the training department  

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience in an administrative capacity  
  • Strong digital literacy and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite®  
  • Advanced communication and organizational skills    
  • Previous Experience working with a learning management and electronic filing system would be an asset  
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
