About the role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Processing, the Supervisor, Processing is responsible for assigning work and supervising process operations crews in meeting production objectives in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner. This role will operate on a 4x4 schedule rotation consisting of day and night shifts.
To be successful, we are looking for a strong leader with a proven track record of mentoring and motivating individuals, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful individual would have strong organization skills and demonstrated professionalism and can interact at all levels of the organization. The ability to multi-task and undertake challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is vital for success.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Lead and empower individuals in achieving operating targets and maximize employee work performance through coaching and feedback
- Coordinate and prioritize the activities of the process operations crew to meet production, cost, and quality objectives
- Coordinate the plant production plan with Mine Operations, Mine Engineering, and Logistics
- Maximize plant yield and efficiency while ensuring product quality meets customer specifications
- Set and communicate goals and objectives for the operations crews
- Administer safety, mine, and environmental regulations in a manner consistent with policies and procedures
- Participate in industrial relations and safety investigations
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with processing plant operations
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience supervising operating crews
- Possess or able to obtain HSRC supervisory ticket
- Possess a strong technical and operational background in a processing environment, experience in coal processing plant would be an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite®: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exposure to Plant Runs is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
