About the role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Maintenance, the Supervisor, Maintenance leads maintenance activities for a large fleet of mining equipment, including haul trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, and auxiliary equipment operating across the shop and pit.
In this role, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to maintenance crews while ensuring safe, efficient execution of scheduled work. You'll balance people leadership, equipment reliability, work management, and continuous improvement initiatives to help keep our operation running at its best.
Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Direct trouble shooting efforts to identify root causes of mobile equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Oversee maintenance and repair activities to maximize equipment availability and reliability
- Manage daily and weekly maintenance schedules to achieve schedule compliance and preventative maintenance targets
- Lead employees and contractors through performance management, coaching, workforce planning and development
- Collaborate with tradespeople, planners, and operations teams to resolve maintenance issues and improve performance
- Source maintenance supplies, equipment and services within budget guidelines
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators including downtime, schedule compliance and labour productivity
Requirements:
- Trade certification, technical diploma, or degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five years of maintenance and reliability experience in a mining or industrial environment, including experience with large mobile equipment such as haul trucks up to 400-ton capacity, D10/D11 dozers, and 16M/24M graders
- Experience supervising or leading a team
- Strong digital literacy and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite®
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
