About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources (HR) department for Central Services.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Someone who is a motivated self starter, works well with a team, and can professionally manage confidential material. You are organized, have strong attention to detail, are adaptable, eager to learn, and able to prioritize contending demands in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Support the new hire onboarding process by coordinating orientation activities, facilitating employee sign-on documentation, and system updates
- Maintain, update, and ensure data integrity within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), generating regular reports and analytics to support strategic decision-makingPartner with the HR team to resolve employee inquiries and support engagement initiatives
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team and other departments as required maintaining databases and personnel files, accurately and in compliance with appliable legislation
- Collaborate with leaders and the HR team to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
- Perform other responsibilities as they arise
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
- Minimum two years experience in an administrative capacity
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and data management skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite®; experience with HRIS or data systems is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to professionally manage confidential information
- Previous experience in an HR capacity is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
