About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor Mine Operations, the Supervisor, Dispatch is responsible for assigning work and meeting production objectives in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner. This position follows a 4x4 schedule rotation of day and night shifts.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is a self-starter and who is capable of empowering others. This person is adaptable, energetic, and has strong attention to detail and a passion in continuous improvement. The ability to multitask and prioritize contending demands is vital to being successful in this role.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Optimize truck shovel operations to improve production and minimize operating costs, including a clear focus on truck productivities
- Ensure equipment line up sheets are built in a timely manner and follow site requirements for skill set qualifications and training progression
- Operate Fleet Control and utilize other digital tools to optimize equipment utilization, efficiency, and operating costs
- Work closely with other Mine Operations Supervisors as well as the Mine Maintenance and Processing teams to ensure safe production goals are achieved every shift
- Lead and empower employees in achieving operating targets and efficiency through mentorship, feedback and achieving safe operating targets
- Enter crew payroll and equipment coding for the purposes of tracking hours and compensation
Requirements:
- Minimum three years mining experience, including at least one year of experience with WENCO Fleet Management System (FMS) or other FMS
- Possess, or willing to attain, a valid Shift Boss ticket in dispatch
- Strong digital literacy required
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License
