About the role:
Reporting to the Manager Talent Development, Performance & Succession, the Advisor, Talent Management will be responsible for providing insights and support for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EVR’s talent management programs and initiatives. This role partners closely with HR leaders, consults with stakeholders across the business, and supports people leaders to develop the talent programming that will improve our organizational capability, support employee growth, and build our talent pipeline.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Develop and enhance interconnected programs related to talent reviews, succession planning, career development, high-potential talent, diversity and inclusion, and performance/talent processes
- Establish program objectives, tools and resources, success measures, governance frameworks, change, communication, and sustainment plans
- Develop program materials, tools, resources, communications, and leader enablement strategies that support the talent management programs
- Build and maintain formal succession roadmaps, talent pools, and analyze data to identify risks for business-critical positions and talent
- Manage and optimize the performance and succession modules within our HRIS platform
- Partner with HR advisors and business leaders to ensure effective adoption and integration of talent programs
- Facilitate talent discussions, workshops, calibration sessions, and other talent-related activities as required
- Monitor program effectiveness, analyze talent and program data, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR in a medium to large, complex organization
- Proficiency with SuccessFactors Talent modules and solid data analysis skills in Excel or reporting dashboards
- Comprehensive understanding of talent management practices and programs and experience designing or improving performance management and succession programs
- Previous HR Business Partnering experience would be considered an asset
- Interpersonal skills with solid stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with others to support program improvements
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Advanced collaboration skills – ability to partner across HR and the broader organization
- Able to work well with minimal supervision on projects from start to finish but also appreciate the value of thought-partnering and collaboration across the team
- Comfortable working in complex, industrial, and safety-sensitive environments
- Ability to travel to our various work locations and mining sites
- Demonstrated digital literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite®
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
