In this role you will be responsible for:

Accurate data capturing into LIMS.
Follow up and escalate queries with the relevant departments with regards to non-conforming material to meet customer specifications.
Generate daily and monthly reports for quality control and accounting purposes.
Adherence to all Glencore specific policies, procedures and works instructions relating to the handling of data to mitigate the risk associated with non-compliance.
Maintain an effective filing and record keeping system
Perform general ad hoc administrative duties as required.

About you:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
ND Analytical Chemistry will be advantageous
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Ferro-chrome Smelter laboratory environment.
Good knowledge of SANAS ISO/IEC 17025:2017
Computer literate including MS Office, SAP, LIMS and MES
Good knowledge of HSEC systems
