About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Human Resources, the Administrative Assistant, Human Resources is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources (HR) department on site.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Someone who is a motivated self starter, work well with a team, and professionally manage confidential material. You are organized, have strong attention to detail, can learn new tasks quickly, and are able to prioritize contending demands in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Assist with new hire orientation, employee sign on, and information changes
- Maintain and update the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Maintain employee benefits and be the liaison between the Company and insurance providers
- Maintain electronic filing systems
- Maintain and distribute reports, statistics, and bulletins
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources group and other appropriate departments when additional support is required
- Perform other responsibilities as they arise
Requirements:
- Business degree or diploma
- Minimum two years experience in an administrative capacity
- Strong digital literacy, especially in the Microsoft Office Suite®
- The ability to professionally manage confidential material
- Experience working in a HR capacity is an asset
- Solid understanding of applicable employment and benefit laws and legislation is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
