In this role, you will:

  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Conduct daily operations of fluidized bed reactors, ballasted sand clarifiers, moving bed biofilm reactors and continuous backwashed upflow sand filters
  • Conduct daily sample collection and make appropriate adjustments to the process reagents based on lab results 
  • Operate dewatering equipment - plate and frame filter press
  • Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
  • Providing support on various projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary diploma in Water Treatment, or Sciences
  • Strong mechanical understanding of process equipment
  • Strong digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite®; especially Excel
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
  • Previous experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interface systems is considered an asset

Salary is determined on the number of academic semesters completed and prior relevant experience.
