Glencore are currently seeking suitably qualified applicants for the role of an Analyst – End User Experience to join the IS&T Department. This is a residential, Monday to Friday role, offering the balance of challenging, meaningful work and the opportunity to return home every day. About the role

 

This position reports to the Specialist – Customer Experience and enjoys working across multiple areas—combining technical expertise, automation, and end user experience improvement to make a real impact. While you’ll operate broadly across digital workplace tools and service insights, your core strength will be as a Microsoft 365 SME, using Power Automate and Power Apps to design, build, and govern solutions that simplify work, reduce clicks for our end users, and create flawless processes.

 

You’ll play a key role in identifying inefficiencies, improving self-service and knowledge experiences, and delivering practical, scalable solutions that enhance the overall end user experience—removing friction, minimising effort, and ensuring processes feel seamless and intuitive.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Own Microsoft 365 SME support and improvement (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Power BI, Power Apps)
  • Build Power Automate and Power Apps solutions that reduce clicks and deliver flawless end-to-end processes
  • Spot recurring end user pain points and remove friction through automation, workflow redesign, or platform uplift
  • Maintain strong self-service outcomes by improving ServiceNow knowledge and SharePoint content (clear, structured, searchable)
  • Provide technical support for complex issues with a focus on root-cause fixes and prevention
  • Apply Power Platform governance and partner with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, supportable solutions
  • Track and improve end user journeys using ServiceNow insights (e.g., request paths, deflection, pain points)

 

About you – skills and experience:

 

You’re a Microsoft 365 SME with hands-on Power Platform experience, focused on making work easier—reducing clicks, improving self-service, and streamlining processes end-to-end.

 

You will bring

  • Strong Microsoft 365 support and user experience knowledge (including escalations)
  • Hands-on Power Automate and Power Apps delivery
  • Working knowledge of Power Platform governance and best practice
  • Basic ServiceNow experience (knowledge and/or reporting/insights)
  • Experience maintaining SharePoint Online sites and content
  • Ability to use data/insights to find and prioritise improvements (Power BI beneficial)
  • Exposure to endpoint tools (e.g., MECM) is an advantage
