In this role, you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Management of the Impact Management and Benefits Agreement (IMBA) workplan to support the activities of the established Indigenous working groups
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on Indigenous agreement performance/activities
- Supporting the execution of annual and special IMBA reviews and assistant in coordinating annual joint working sessions
- Public engagement planning preparation and execution
- Data management and maintenance of social tracking and reporting system (TrackLine)
- Event planning and preparation support
- Policy and issue research, report/communications plan preparation
Requirements:
- Currently pursing an Undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, Indigenous Studies, Business Administration or Commerce
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License or extra-provincial equivalent, without learner’s restrictions is preferred
- Motivated self-starter; able to prioritize work under pressure and show great attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to multidisciplinary teams
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and experience with HR programs/software would be an asset
