An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Lead Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic and high-performing team. This position is within our Fixed Plant Maintenance Department, working as part of a diverse planning team. This position is on a residential basis in Mount Isa working a lifestyle-focused 9-day fortnight.
Reporting directly to the Senior Maintenance Planner, you will provide technical direction and oversight for maintenance activities. Delivering Total Asset Strategies utilising work management processes for the purpose of optimizing asset performance with a holistic business approach at the forefront. You will lead a team to build a safe and empowering work environment, focusing on continuous improvements which adhere to compliance, regulatory, statutory, and legislative requirements.
To be successful, you will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders of the business, strive to be open, sharing and active part of a high-performing team and embody the Glencore values: safety, responsibility, entrepreneurialism, openness and simplicity. This role also involves active participation in promoting a safety culture through practices and procedures, training and development activities, and maintaining constant meaningful interaction with operators and maintenance providers to ensure business operations are carried out.

Your key responsibilities include:
- Delivery of weekly schedules through SAP for maintenance execution departments
- Procurement of resources, parts and materials, ensuring availability for all scheduled work
- Championing Maintenance Work Management process and mentoring team members
- Supporting supervisors and management team to achieve KPI targets
- Custodian of SAP ensuring all maintenance records are retained as per standards
- Ideally seeking a candite who Trade certificate or relevant tertiary qualification
- Proven experience in Maintenance planning and asset management
- Understanding of mining legislation, standards and statutory compliance requirements
- Planning and scheduling experience with SAP or similar CMMS
- Exposure to large mining or manufacturing environments
- Intermediate level of Microsoft office suite; Project, Excel, Word
- Ability to demonstrate a high standard and commitment to a safe work culture
