About the role:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Maintenance Processing, the Industrial Instrumentation Mechanic is responsible for the installation, calibration, repair, and maintenance of all electronic process control field instrumentation in a modern coal processing environment.
The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.
In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- In certain components of this role, it is mandatory to wear a respirator which requires an interference free seal
- Install, calibrate, repair, and maintain electronic process control field instrumentation
- Work in a team-oriented environment of instrumentation and electrical peers
- Perform all aspects of installation where required, including piping and wiring.
Requirements:
- Interprovincial Red Seal Instrumentation & Control Technician Certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with control systems, DCS and PLC experience would be an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Previous mining experience an asset.

Hourly Wage: $53.56
