Oreflow Attendant

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Oreflow Supervisor, the Oreflow Attendant will be responsible for safely operating various types of mobile and fixed equipment to facilitate the movement of personnel, materials, and equipment throughout the underground mine and hoisting plant. This role also involves performing essential underground labor tasks to support mine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of mobile and fixed equipment to transport personnel, materials, and equipment within the underground mine and hoisting plant
• Perform a range of underground labor tasks, including slime haulage, loading pocket operations, auxiliary cage tending, cage tending, and trolley operations
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of crushers, hoists, conveyor systems, utility vehicles, and trolleys
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a strong safety culture in all tasks
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support operational requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core certification is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of underground mining experience
• Direct experience with crushers, hoists, conveyor systems, utility vehicles, and trolleys
• Ability to work in warm conditions at depth

We offer a competitive wage and bonus plan complemented by a comprehensive range of benefits. Wage will vary depending on experience, education and certification. $41.74-$44.60 hourly.
