Position Overview
Reporting to the Safety & Emergency Response Supervisor, the Training Advisor’s primary objective is to support the training needs of Kidd Operations’ departments. Responsibilities also include:
Ability to develop and deliver high quality training materials to all personnel
Coordinate training activities for contractors and Kidd Concentrator personnel
Develop and implement delivery plans for training systems
Complete induction requirements and verify contractor competencies
Ensure training meets legislative requirements and time frames
Schedule and document training activities required to maintain company systems
Mentoring training officers and embedded trainers
Qualifications
The ideal Candidate will have:
A University degree or College diploma with 2-4 years experience in a training capacity
Certification in Train the Trainer would be considered an asset
Demonstrated technical writing experience including report writing and training development
Strong planning, organizational and facilitation skills
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills including use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Pivot Tables, etc.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 10 hour days. (Kidd Operations reserves the right to modify working schedules as necessary, in accordance with applicable notice requirements and labor regulations.)
We offer a competitive wage and bonus plan complemented by a comprehensive range of benefits.Wage will vary depending on experience, education and certification. $78,000.00 - $97,000.00 annually. Candidates must ensure that progressive, sustainable improvements within the department are consistent with business objectives and our health, safety, environmental and community policies.
