Position Overview

Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, the HR Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the administration of the complete recruitment lifecycle and process.


Additional Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to hiring departments for approved vacancies
  • Attracting applicants by placing job advertisements using various platforms
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications
  • Arranging and participating in interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Completing necessary pre-employment requirements such as reference checks
  • Prepare/present approved offers to candidates and field any questions from candidates in relation to the offer
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new employees, including gathering necessary documents and creating new hire packages
  • Create and manage Recruitment purchase order requests
  • Assisting in maintaining up-to-date employee records, digital and physical, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Providing clerical support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Supporting HR-led initiatives, employee engagement events, and training sessions
  • Performing any other related duties as assigned by the HRBP or HR Superintendent

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Post secondary education in HR, Business or Office Admin or a related field would be considered an asset
  • 2–3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a mining, heavy industrial, or manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in administrative or clerical support
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Days.

As this position is in a safety-sensitive environment, final candidates must successfully complete Drug & Alcohol testing as part of our pre-employment process.
