Its operating headquarters, the center of its main activities, is located about 42 km from the city of Kolwezi in the province of Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Main objectives of the position
Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Management Manager, the Superintendent - Rotables is responsible for managing and optimizing the lifecycle of repairable and reusable components (Rotables) in order to maximize equipment availability, reduce replacement costs and improve asset reliability. He/She is responsible for rotating monitoring, repair cycle management, exchange pool management, repair supplier coordination and rotating inventory optimization.
Minimum qualification
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
- Professional certifications such as APICS/CPIM, CSCP or equivalent are advantageous.
Required Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain, planning, procurement or inventory management.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry is highly valued.
Required skills
- Demand forecasting and inventory management.
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Pronto, JD Edwards, etc.).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
- Supply chain analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of purchasing and warehouse operations and transportation technologies.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end rotating management process.
• Maintain visibility and control over rotating inventory at sites and repair providers.
• Coordinate repair and refurbishment activities with suppliers and equipment manufacturers
• Monitor turnaround times and repair cycle performance.
• Develop rotating storage and exchange pool strategies.
• Ensure accurate system tracking and visibility into the status of rotating assets.
• Analyze rottable performance and identify opportunities to reduce outages and improve availability.
• Work closely with maintenance and reliability teams to align rotary planning with equipment strategies.
• Monitor warranty claims and repair quality, performance.
• Support cost optimization through better repair and replacement decisions.
• Ensure strong governance and control over the movement of repairable inventory.
• Develop rotating dashboards of performance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Promote the safe handling, transport and storage of rotating components.
• Support environmental initiatives through renovation and asset life extension programs.
• Participate in audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Implement best practices in the management of rotating and repairable assets.
• Improve processes to reduce repair times and inventory costs.
• Support digitization and improvements to asset management systems.
• Lead and develop the Rotable team.
• Establish performance goals and monitor team effectiveness.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical advice.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Comply with Glencore's environmental management requirements and procedures as well as MUMI SARL's environmental policy.
