About the Role
Reporting to the HV & Refrigeration Superintendent, you will lead the safe and efficient operation of our High Voltage maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise and guidance will directly contribute to operational excellence and system reliability.

About the Role
Reporting to the HV & Refrigeration Superintendent, you will lead the safe and efficient operation of our High Voltage maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise and guidance will directly contribute to operational excellence and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote safe work practices across HV maintenance teams
- Support fault finding and commissioning activities within HV Distribution PTCEW-controlled areas
- Minimise operational disruptions and improve system reliability
- Maintain high-quality work standards and ensure team competency and compliance
You are a proactive leader who motivates others, embraces change, and drives continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Trade qualification as an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic
- Queensland Electrical Licence
- 5–7 years’ supervisory experience (preferred)
- High Voltage Power Distribution Systems
- Protection relay testing
- Industrial electronics
- Switchboards
- Transformer commissioning and testing
- A strong safety-first mindset
- Clear leadership and team development capability
- Strategic thinking and planning skills
- Accountability and a commitment to excellence
- The ability to coach, mentor, and develop others
