Mount Isa Mines is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior – High Voltage Distribution to join our team. This position reports to the HV and Refrigeration Superintendent and is residentially based in Mount Isa, working a 7-days on, 7-days off roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and ensure the safe operation of the maintenance and HV teams.
  • Assist with fault finding and commissioning of new work in areas under the control of the HV Distribution PTCEW.
  • Minimize disruptions to customers and enhance the reliability of systems.
  • Maintain high-quality work standards and ensure personnel are legal and competent for all tasks.


Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Trade qualification (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic) with a Queensland Electrical license.
  • Preferred 5-7 years of supervisory experience with extensive industrial experience, including Power Distribution Systems – High Voltage, Protection Relay testing, Industrial Electronics, switchboard, Transformer commissioning, and testing.
  • A positive attitude, resilience, and openness to change.
