Its operating headquarters, the center of its main activities, is located about 42 km from the city of Kolwezi in the province of Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Main objectives of the position
Under the direct supervision of the Team Manager, the Dump Truck Operator is responsible for operating the vacuum truck for pumping, vacuuming wastewater, toilet and kitchen waste, while strictly complying with HSE and environmental standards. He/She ensures efficient, safe and compliant cleaning and vacuuming operations, minimising environmental impacts and risks to people and facilities.
Minimum qualification
- State diploma or equivalent (mechanics, electromechanics, etc.).
- Training as an industrial equipment operator (advantage).
- HSE / ISO 14001 training.
- Training in the handling of waste from toilets and kitchens.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vacuum Truck Operator or similar equipment operator.
- Experience in a mining or industrial environment (advantage).
Required skills
- Use of suction and pumping systems.
- High sense of safety and HSE discipline.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuum wastewater, waste from toilets and restaurants.
- Loading and unloading waste to authorized sites.
- Adhere to operational routes and procedures.
- Clean and maintain the vacuum truck and its accessories.
- Check the condition of hoses, pumps, valves and tanks.
- Report any mechanical failure or anomaly.
- Ensure vehicle readiness.
- Report any operational anomalies or HSE.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and field teams.
- Propose improvements for safety and efficiency.
- Participate in HSE and environmental audits.
- Contribute to the safety and environmental culture of the site.
- Comply with the company's environmental policies. Comply with Glencore's environmental management requirements and procedures as well as MUMI SARL's environmental policy.
