The Engineering Learnership provides candidates who have completed N2 with related trade theory an opportunity to

receive technical and work specific skills in the Engineering trade fields they have chosen. The program is composed

of theory and practical component, upon successful completion they will qualify as Artisan with a trade certificate.

 

Engineering learnership programs are available for the following disciplines:

 

  • Boilermaker
  • Fitter
  • Electrician
  • Auto Electrician
  • Instrumentation
  • Rigger
  • Diesel Mechanic

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Entering a learnership agreement with the MQA.
  • Completing theoretical and practical trade modules at the training centre.
  • Completing all phases of the learnership programme within the specific time frame.
  • Completing On-the-Job training modules.
  • Workplace readiness and technical panel evaluation.
  • Attending Basic and Advanced Engineering Skills Courses.
  • Assisting with basic Artisan tasks during the stages of practical exposure.

 

About you:

  • Full N2 with relevant Trade Theory.
  • Medically fit
  • Proficiency in English
Candidates will be required to undergo Psychometric assessments
