Main objectives of the position
Under the direct supervision of the Raising Concerns Lead, the Raising Concerns Officer is responsible for conducting investigations related to allegations of misconduct, fraud, or non-compliance raised within the organization.
The role involves carrying out thorough and objective investigations arising from internal reports, management requests, and Glencore’s Raising Concerns Programme (RCP) and Legal Raising Concerns (LRC). The incumbent contributes to strengthening compliance, transparency, and integrity by identifying risks and providing well-founded recommendations.
Minimum qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminology, Internal Audit, Forensic Investigation, or a related field.
Required Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar investigative role, preferably within a corporate, legal, or compliance environment.
Required skills
Strong analytical thinking, critical judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
High level of integrity, impartiality, and confidentiality.
Excellent communication and active listening skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a holistic view.
Ability to produce clear, structured, and evidence-based investigation reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and ability to work with databases.
Fluency in French and functional English.
Ability to work independently in a demanding and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, conduct, and document investigations, including evidence gathering, interviews, analysis, and reporting.
Prepare detailed investigation reports with objective findings and practical recommendations.
Identify control weaknesses, potential fraud indicators, and non-compliant behaviors.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout investigation processes.
Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Human Resources teams on investigations.
Ensure proper handling, preservation, and documentation of evidence and sensitive information.
Contribute to strengthening internal controls and compliance processes.
Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and use appropriate PPE when required.
Report incidents, breaches, or irregularities in line with company protocols.
Comply with Glencore's environmental management requirements and procedures as well as MUMI SARL's environmental policy
